الف- ویژگی آبهای زیرزمینی
- مواد معلق در آنها کم است.
- معمولا مواد آلی بسیار کم دارند.

4- معمولا آلوده به میکروارگانیسمها هستند.
5- مقدار آمونیاک، فنل و نیترات این آبها ممکن است زیاد باشد.
6- اگر آبهای سطحی از آبهای کشاورزی ناشی شوند، معمولا دارای نیترات و فسفات قابل توجهی هستند، بویژه در مناطقی که از کودهای شیمیایی استفاده می شود.
ج- ویژگی آبهای شور:
