آنتی اسکلانت – ماده ضد رسوب R.O Scale Inhibitor
به دلیل وجود نمک های محلول در آب ورودی به سیستم های تصفیه آب به روش اسمز معکوس و آب شیرین کن و ایجاد گرفتگی و رسوب در روزنه های میکرونی پلی آمید ممبرین های اسمز معکوس ،, و اصظلاحا پدیده scaling به وجود می آید. از جمله موادی که روی غشای پلی آمید ( ممبرین) رسوب می کنند، می توان به کربنات کلسیم (CaCO₃)، سولفات کلسیم (CaSO₄)، سولفات باریم (BaSO₄)، و سولفات استرونیوم (SrSO₄) اشاره کرد. رسوبات سیلیکا (SiO₂) و فلوراید کلسیم (CaF) کمتر متداول هستند ولیکن مشکل ساز می باشند. جهت جلوگیری این نمک های محلول بر روی ممبرین به آب ورودی به سیستم RO آنتی اسکالانت Antiscalant تزریق می شود.
معایب استقاده از آنتی اسکالانت نا مرغوب باعث کاهش ظرفیت تولید ،بالا رفتن میزان نمک های محلول در آب تولید TDS خروجی تولید، افزایش فشار بر پمپ های طبقاتی و کاهش طول عمر پمپ و افزایش برق مصرفی ناشی از بالا رفتن میزان آمپر ، تعدد شستشوی ممیران ناشی از گرفتگی و در نهایت کاهش طول عمر در ممبران ها و تعویض زود هنگام آن می گردد
