مواد خارجی موجود در آب : با افزایش کدورت آب ( به دلیل امکان تماس کمتر کلر با میکرارگانیسمها ) تاثیر گندزدائی کلر کمتر میگردد.لذا به غلظت کلر بیشتری نیاز می‌باشد.
اندازه گیری میزان کلر توسط کیتهای کلرسنجی (OTO یا DPD):

طریقه تنظیم میزان کلر آب :
